I am someone with lots of questions and too few answers.
Posts tend to evolve around here. I’m evoking the “a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds” defense. I don’t always use the strikethrough to document all my edits. Mostly I use it to be cheeky.
I admit to the fault of premature posting. (That sounds terrible, but alas, it is true.) Sometimes I make major improvements on a post days after it is first published. I am sorry. I will try to do better.
If an independent human or humans is/are interested in putting my odd poems to music, I’d be interested. Leave me a message in the About and Around comments and I’ll get back to you.
If you are an artist or writer, and looking for a “recommend,” I like to do occasional posts that highlight the works of others. Leave me a link to your website in the About and Around comments and I’ll get back to you. Make sure you want to be associated with this site before you give permission. Inclusion in posts is entirely at my discretion and don’t go getting all hurt if I don’t grok your noodle. It’s a big old world and there’s plenty for everyone if we’re tolerant and respectful to those who are willing to respond in kind. Bullies and charlatans are another matter entirely. They receive no mercy here.
I am a dinosaur when it comes to social networking and I want things to stay that way. I may not be able to meet your interface needs. Que sera sera.
I try to be respectful of copyrighted material and try not to use images from sources of which I can be reasonably sure do not share my point of view. But, mistakes do happen. If I use something of yours without the required permission or in a manner of which you do not approve, please let me know. I will delete the data immediately and post a correction/apology. We can handle matters like reasonable human beings. It is good practice for all concerned … builds character and reduces animosity.
Finally, I sometimes use profanity. I try to keep it to a minimum, but sometimes a dammit is required for emphasis… or for effect. I don’t suffer fools gladly, am prone to snark when provoked, and I don’t feed trolls.
